Circuit Theory
I felt it was time to throw up another beautiful woman. Enjoy this.
Cintia Dickers.
Woa.
Do you ever get the feeling that you are in a position that you need to get out of? A career choice, relationship, friends holding you back? Well I had something similar. I just stopped having feelings for someone in a flash. It hit me like a brick wall… But when it hit me, I knew I had to act on it. It’s like when you have an itch… the first reaction is to scratch to stop the discomfort.
Well, today I pulled the trigger.
I’m not proud of what I did because I hurt someone emotionally and made them upset. I felt terrible…hell, I still do. But it had to be done for me. It wasn’t what I wanted. I guess what I am trying to say here is… If something you have control over isn’t panning out the way you intended, change it. Do it now. Because if you let it sit there, all hell will break loose and you will be caught in it forever. It’ll be too late to go back.
Remember this.
The Black Keys Concert
If you follow me on twitter (@JLaszlo) then you are probably well aware that The Black Keys invaded the Air Canada Center in Toronto tonight, and I had the great fortune of going. When I say great fortune, I mean it, as I actually won 2 tickets to the show this past…
Guitar World Model Katrina.
Damn, there is nothing quite like a redhead with a guitar. This is why I think I started playing in the first place lol
If you’re interested, the equipment in the shot consists of a Marshall Blusebreaker Combo amp and what appears to be a Park head stock on a stratocaster body. Not my setup of choice, but I’m not prepared to argue ;)
Boom.
Good morning
Stay tuned for a shit ton of pictures from the concert that I am going to tomorrow. My buddy ‘J’ over at One Man Club, was lucky enough to win tickets last night. Crazy. What’s even more fucked up is that he decided to call me up at 10pm and invite ME to the show!!! Now I am super pumped.
Check back here Wednesday night or Thursday for some up close pictures of the band rockin’ the house at the ACC in Toronto!
Oh and follow J, he gave me a ticket for this show for fuck sakes. I linked his site.
Stand up guy.
The Pagani Huayra
Take a good 15minutes and learn about this amazing automobile. Discover the time & effort (not to mention detail) put into this hypercar! This is truly an astonishing pursuit of perfection. Enjoy the vid.
One of the only cars to rival the Bugatti Veyron (top speed of 407km/h), the Koenigsegg CCX hits a top speed of about 395km/h! The body is made from pre-impregnated carbon fibre/kevlar and lightweight sandwich reinforcements. The wheels and intake manifolds are carbon fiber making this roadster weigh only 1280kg (2821lbs). It’s fitted with it’s own Koenigsegg engine, it is an aluminium V8, it has 4 valves/cylinder and double overhead camshafts. The CCX’s displacement is 4800cc and it has sequential, multipoint fuel injection as well as twin Rotrex centrifugal superchargers (1.4 bar boost pressure). The carbon fiber manifolds mentioned above also have optimized intake tracts. The gearbox is a specially designed transversal 6-speed, with the option for paddle shifts.
The original 2006 CCX (left) produces a power output of 806bhp @ 7000rpm while the new and improved version has outputs 888bhp at the same rpm, and can reach 100km/h from knot in 3.0 seconds flat! It is also fitted with a spoiler, and for good reason. The original CCX had no spoiler and tended to throw out it’s back end when coming out of corners at high speeds. That being said, the top speed of the CXX was achieved without the use of the “rear wing”. The CCX also has a removable hardtop, which is storable under the hood.
This car is raw, cut and dry. There is no traction control, it is uncomfortable to sit in, and you have about an 8”x10” rear window! Looking past all that, the ride is enjoyable. Acceleration is exhilarating, the sound this car makes is astonishing, and the handling is superb (minus the back end issue corrected by the spoiler).
This automobile looks great. It’s swedish (which is interesting), and insanely fast and “under the radar”. It seems to hide in the shadows of Lamborghini and Ferrari, much like any European roadster. If you feel like picking one up just be prepared to lay down around $540,000.00
